LUST TO KILL
Opening sequence: Camera approaching a room with low strumming music, not too dramatic but not happy either. A bell rings and with it a man wakes up on the bed.
Man: What the fuck? [struggles] I can’t move! Uh... My legs! Shit! Who’s done this? [frightened] Where are you?
Jessie: [Cold and calm mocking voice] You shouldn’t have kissed me...now you’re paralysed.
Man: Let me go you crazy bitch! Or I swear, I’ll make your life a fucking misery.
Jessie switches the light on
Jessie: Misery? I’ll let you know fucking misery!
Jessie calmly approaches the man hiding something behind her back. When by the bed, she slowly draws a knife out from behind her back.
Mans eyes flash with fear. Stabs man in the heart violently, leaving the knife there.
Jessie turns to the camera
Jessie: I’ve just killed this man, I don’t know why I did this. [pause, looks down] Maybe it all started that time...
Cuts to a short scene of Jessie walking down a dark street, suddenly being grabbed from an alley
Back to Jessie in the room, Jessie looks into the camera.
Jessie: That time, it all happened.
Cuts to the alley scene, Jessie grabs a brick and smacks it into the guys head. Jessie walks away from alley. We see a pair of legs protruding from alley. Back to Jessie, who smirks callously.
Cut to opening credits.
Title: The Lust To Kill.
Scence two: Opens with class walking out of a lecture theatre, Jessie’s at the back with 3 friends. Drops her book.
Jessie: [frustrating] God! I really don’t get this crap! Why do we even need to know this?
Sarah: I know right!
Charlotte: [thoughfully] I don’t know you guys, I thought the lecture was alright!
Michelle: Oh shut up, you only say that because you’re shagging Dr Brown!
Small party proceeds down the corridor
Sarah: Oh Christ! I’ve just remembered, We need to hand in our essays!
Jessie: I’ve handed mine in yesterday, you guys go on ahead! I’ll meet you in the bar later.
Camera follows Jessie who goes to a vending machine and buys chocolate. Loud bang is heard, which startles Jessie and makes her breathe in. Jessie begins to choke. Shot of new man, Zack. Zack sees Jessie- drops books- rushes over to perform to do the Heimlich manoeuvre.
As Zack grabs Jessie to perform the Heimlich, Jessie has a flashback of her arguing with her boyfriend.-This is the reason she was out walking down past an alleyway.
Jessie: [enraged] So who is she then?!?
Boyfriend: What the fuck are you on about? I haven’t done anything.
Jessie: Don’t you lie to me you bastard. She rang for you! Did you not think not to give her the fucking house number?
Boyfriend: Look, I can explain!
Jessie interrupts
Jessie: Explain what? I’m not an idiot! I know its been going on for months! [Boyfriend reaches out to stroke her arm]Don’t touch me you
creep! [Exit Jessie, slams door]
Back to the present
Sarah, Michelle and Charlotte walk in through the door, and see Zack giving Jessie the Heimlich. But looks dodgy.
Sarah: [gasp] Jess! You whore, get a room!
Michelle: [Flirtatiously] So, who’s your new friend?
Zack to Jessie ignoring friends, rubs her arms
Zack: Are you ok?
Jessie: [rubs throat] Yeah, i’ll be alright.
Zack: I’ll catch you later then.[Exit Zack]
Jessie smiles after him
Charlottes sarcastically coos
Charlotte: Mister touchy!
Jessie: [Scowls] Oh shut up you!
Jessie turns to the camera, others freeze.
Jessie: Honestly why do I even bother with them? He saved my life didn’t he? [pause] wow!
Jessie storms out, friends look at each other, shrug and follow.
Scene 3
Jessie is in the night club, chatting up a guy, he is mesmerized by, they kiss and she leads him out, she sees Zack who smiles and wave whilst they’re leaving. Jessie is leading her victim home, but realizes that something inside her snaps, not wanting to kill anymore, but wanting to kill at the same time.
1) Jessie and victim are seductively dancing
2) Jessie starts to lead the victim away towards the exit
3) Outside Jessie turns to lead him home
4) Spots Zack
5) Zack waves and smiles
6) Jessie smiles back and pauses then looks down shakes her head and runs off with the victim
7) Leads victim away
Victim and Jessie walking down a street
Victim:[slurs] My legs feel funny
Jessie smiles and chuckles
Jessie: Yeah...
Flash image of Zack Smiling at her
Victim: Uh what the hell?
Flash image of Zack smiling at her
Victim collapses
Flash image of Zack smiling at her
Jessie: [whispers horrified] shit!
Jessie runs away leaving victim lying on the ground.
Flashback of Jessie walking in tears storming off muttering to herself
Jessie: What a twat! I can’t believe I fell for him
Flashback -Walks past alley as in first scene, gets grabbed. We do not see into alley with two actors, but see the outside and hear screams like Get of me! Then hear a brick smashing. Jessie stumbles backwards out of the alley and runs away.
Scene 4
Jessie sitting in her bedroom (generic student bedroom) Holding a pillow or a duvet .
Jessie:[voice over -inside head voice] What the hell happened? Why couldn’t I kill him? Why did I leave him there? It’s that Zack! He’s in my head! What is he doing to me? [Desperately pleading] Get out of my head!
